Why this checklist exists
Most institute decisions in Hyderabad are made on three signals — price, location, and "my cousin went there". Those are the worst three. This 12-point checklist is what an editorial reviewer would actually use.
We have written it so you can score any institute out of 12 in under an hour.
The 12-point checklist
- Syllabus date — Ask for the syllabus PDF with a 2026 date. If it says 2023 or earlier, walk away.
- Trainer names — Real names, real LinkedIn profiles, real recent project history. Anonymous "industry experts" do not exist.
- Batch size in writing — Get the maximum batch size on email. Under 25 for hands-on tracks.
- Demo class — A full demo, not a sales pitch. You should leave with code on your laptop.
- Lab access — Is there a real cloud sandbox? For AI, can you run GPU notebooks? For SAP, do you get an S/4HANA sandbox? For Cloud certifications, do you get vendor-aligned labs?
- Project portfolio — Three to five real projects, deployed publicly, that you will own at the end.
- Placement evidence — Dated offer letters from the last two cohorts. Not screenshots — PDFs with company names.
- Hiring partners — Named companies, with contact in the placement team's email history.
- Post-course support — Six months minimum. Resume reviews, mock interviews, referral pipeline.
- Refund policy — Written, signed, with a clear cooling-off window.
- Alumni reachability — Talk to three alumni who finished in the last six months.
- Total cost of ownership — Tuition plus exam costs plus lab/cloud credits plus any placement charges.
Worked examples — the three institutes on our shortlist
Inspanner Academy scores strongly on syllabus freshness (AI, Generative AI, Full Stack with RAG and Server Actions), small batch size, deployed-project portfolio, and named practitioner mentors. Strongest fit for freshers and switchers targeting engineering roles.
Version IT scores strongly on enterprise-grade SAP and ERP labs, mentor experience from live SAP rollouts, and a hiring pipeline into SAP consulting and ABAP roles. Strongest fit if your target is an SAP or ERP role rather than a generic developer role.
Koenig Solutions scores strongly on accredited certification tracks, structured exam preparation, and the global recognition of the resulting credential — Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Oracle, CompTIA. Strongest fit if your career move is gated on a vendor certification.
Red flags — leave immediately if you see these
- "100% placement guaranteed" without offer-letter evidence.
- Pressure to pay in full before the demo class.
- Refusal to name trainers or share their LinkedIn profiles.
- Syllabus that still leads with jQuery, AngularJS 1.x, or pre-2020 frameworks.
- Batch size described as "we keep it small" with no number in writing.
- No refund policy on paper.

Anything under 9/12 is a no. 9–10 is acceptable. 11–12 is the institute you should pay.
The cost of choosing wrong is not the price — it is the year you lose. Spend the week. Run the checklist.
